100 Days: Take a glimpse into your first few months on the job.

Our clients’ needs evolve and can change from day to day - and so do the projects our consultants work on. No two career paths are the same for our people, just like no two days will be the same. Here’s a glimpse of one consultant’s journey. When you join West Monroe, you’ll create your own!


Day 1: Meet your new teammates. 

You’re introduced to the West Monroe Healthcare and Life Sciences practice, who you’ll collaborate with on a daily basis. On your team, you’ll find mentors, partners, and protégés. You’re an integral piece of the puzzle, and we’re glad you’re here.

Day 5: Jump right in. 

While you learn the ropes, you’re joining an established project team as they work with a national health plan to transform its legacy technology platform and key business processes. Today your team is in the midst of assessing the client’s legacy technology platform through a series of interviews and workshops with stakeholders.

Day 30: Roll up your sleeves.

West Monroe gets to work by assessing if the contact center technology meets the needs of the business. You’ll work to update the existing system to improve call routing, workflow, workforce management, and reporting capabilities. Completing this work in just a few weeks will allow the client to quickly equip their care coordination team with new capabilities and allow the organization to address other high priority items.

Day 45: Work hard. Play hard.

It’s time for a practice roundtable. We’ll spend a half-day highlighting current projects, recognizing our peers for jobs well done, and sharing key employee-owner updates.

Day 50: Invest in yourself. We'll back you.

Our consultants have the opportunity to validate their technical acumen with the latest credentials and certifications, as talent development is highly valued at West Monroe. You’ve selected a seminar that will bring key insights to assist with your client work and career growth.

Day 75: Accept your next challenge.

A large insurance provider is looking to enhance their contact center capabilities to better serve customers, leading to improved efficiency and reporting . They’re relying on West Monroe’s uncommon blend of industry expertise and business-savvy technologists to make the difference.

Day 100: It’s not just talk.

Today West Monroe is participating in a clean-up day in downtown Seattle as part of our 1:1:1 initiative. Enjoy the sunshine and socialization with peers as you share in bettering the community where you work!
